CONSULTATION
/ OBSERVATION DAYS
To hone
your diagnostic skills

Patients/clients need to know
that there will be observers
in their consultation/treatment & that
rules of confidentiality are
strictly applied by TendingShen.
a) Initial Consultation
Any practitioner is welcome to
bring a patient for a second
opinion (concerning diagnosis
and/or treatment strategy). The
patient must be informed that
the point of the consult is to
receive a second opinion, as
occasionally no treatment will
be administered that day. Most
of the time, however, YOU will
actually treat your patient under
Niki’s supervision. Following
which there will be a discussion
of future treatment principles.
If you are not able to legally
treat in New York, you must check
that there is a licensed Buffalo
practitioner who will be able
to treat your patient and inform
your patient of this arrangement.
Consultation
fee: $150 payable
on the day. 48 hours notice of
cancellation is required, otherwise
the full fee is due. Cheques
should be made payable to TendingShen
Corporation.
b) Occasional Follow-ups
You are welcome to bring any patient who has already had a consultation with Niki for follow-up treatment(s). If you are not able to legally treat in New York, you must check that there is a licensed Buffalo practitioner who will be able to treat your patient and inform your patient of this arrangement.
Follow-up
fee: $100 payable on
the day. 48 hours notice of cancellation
is required, otherwise the full
fee is due. Cheques should be
made payable to TendingShen Corporation.
c) Observation
These days are tailor-made for
practitioners wishing to observe
initial diagnoses on ‘new’ patients
(re CSOE, signs & symptoms,
pulses etc). There will be a
maximum of 6 observers each Consult
Day.
Timing: days will run from 10.30 am
to 8.30 pm, including tutorial
time. Please arrive by 10.15am.
Observation
fee: $100 per day,
payable on booking. Cheques
should be made payable to TendingShen
Corporation.
Cancellation/Refund
Policy: Cancellations made up to four
weeks before the event will
result in a full refund less
a $25 (per day booked) processing
fee. No refunds are made for
cancellations with less than
four weeks notice.
CEUs: At
the moment CEUs are not offered
for these days.

10.30 am, 11.15 am, 12 noon, 12.45 pm, 1.30 pm, 2.15 pm, 3.00 pm, 3.45 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.15 pm.
